FR-041. Possibly French, 1st quarter 19th century, unsigned. 7" tall drum microscope in 7 1/2" x 3" x 2" wood case, with 2 extra objective lens nosepieces, tweezers, 3 wood slides, stage forceps. Microscope and case in good condition, showing some wear from use. An early 19th century example of the 18th century English Martin-type drum microscopes.
