01-034. American, late 2nd quarter 20th century, with trade label in the lid "SET NUMBER I FOR CHEMICAL MICROSCOPY, SHILLABER MODEL." The original 8 3/4" x 4 1/2" x 4" fitted mahogany case contains 60 small vials of chemicals used in chemical microscopy. All of the vials still contain their original chemicals; most are unopened. The original fitted mahogany case is in very good overall condition.
