08-005. English, late 4th quarter 18th century, signed in script on the front by the maker "G. Adams,
London" and on the back by the original owner "D. Pratt." Made of bright polished brass, the
protractor is 6 7/8" diameter and graduated by 1/2 degrees, with clockwise and counterclockwise
numbering every 10 degrees. The protractor is in good overall condition, having been recently
re-lacquered and showing some edge dings, but all of the engraving is still sharp and readable.
