12-INCH EQUAL SPACING DIVIDERS by THEO. ALTENEDER & SONS
08-13. America, 2nd quarter 20th century, signed "THEO ALTENEDER & SONS" and stamped "STAINLESS STEEL." Alteneder describes these dividers in their 1941 catalog as follows: "This instrument consists of 11 teeth, numbered from 0 to 10, and so adjusted that they always divide the extreme setting of the dividers into 10 equal parts." The dividers are in fine overall condition in their original cardboard box.
