CONTO MODELL C 8-PLACE ADDING MACHINE by CARL LANDOLT
09-023. Swiss, 1st quarter 20th century, stamped on the front "Conto Modell C, CARL LANDOLT Rechenmaschinen, THALWIL b/ZURICH, PATENT." Made of leather covered brass with blackened brass face plate, 13 3/4" long overall x 2 1/2" wide x 1 3/4" tall (at the back). This very well made small adding machine has 8 setting dials in the center & corresponding register along the bottom and an 8-place results register at the top, with a crescent-shaped trigger to add the bottom register to the top results register, and a lever with a ball handle to clear the results register. This very uncommon 8-place Conto Modell C is in very good working condition, in its original plush lined case.
