American, 2nd quarter 20th century, signed on the end "Ruxton MULTI-VIDER, Pat Pending, Made in U.S.A." Made of hard white plastic, with nickel plated brass fittings, 6 1/8" long overall x 7/16" diameter. The body is split in half lengthwise, with 2 sets of C scales engraved on one half and 2 sets of D scales engraved on the other half; the body then slides apart to allow the slide rule scales to be used. This well made slide rule mechanical pencil is in very good overall condition.
American, 2nd quarter 20th century, signed on the body "MONROE SLIDE RULE PENCIL PAT. PEND." Made of hard black plastic, with gold colored fittings, 5 1/2" long overall x 3/8" diameter. There is a 3" long slot in the black body with A & D scales on either side and a center white cylinder, with B, CI, C & K scales, that slides in & out to allow these scales to be used against the A & D scales on the body. This well made slide rule mechanical pencil is also in very good overall condition.
