10-009. French, 4th quarter 19th century, signed on the plush lining "LES FILS D'EMILE DEYROLLE, 46, Rue de BAC, PARIS." Made of polished lacquered brass 5 7/8" long overall x 3/4" diameter, with draw tube focussing eyepiece, inline set of 3 prisms, adjustable slit, and a black lacquered brass holder for a small test tube to hold the liquid sample. The spectroscope is in very good working condition, in its original plush-lined cloth covered case.
