10-010. English, 2nd quarter 20th century, unsigned, but certainly by a fine maker like Philip Harris. Made of black lacquered brass, 4" diameter with 1 7/8" diameter windows of polarizing material that can be rotated in their mounting rings. The polarizer & analyzer have been mounted in new turned wood bases and are both in very good overall condition.
