S10-057. English, 2nd quarter 20th century, signed "PHILIP HARRIS Ltd." Made of black lacquered brass and standing 8 1/4" tall overall on its 3 screw levelling base. The 4 3/8" diameter needle case has a bubble level on top and beveled glass sides. The 3 1/8" long needle is supported on metal bearings in the center of the vertical circle, and both the horizontal and vertical silvered circles are graduated in degrees. The apparatus is in very good overall condition.
