S10-058. English, 1st quarter 20th century, unsigned. Hand blown glass chalice, 4 1/8" diameter at the top x 6 3/4" tall, with a glass syphon tube mounted in cork and sealing the hole in the bottom of the chalice. When the glass chalice is filled with water to a level that primes the syphon, the chalice will empty until the water level falls below the open end of the syphon tube. This attractive glass Tantalus cup is in fine overall condition, with no chips or cracks.
