NESTED CUP-WEIGHT SET MADE IN NUREMBERG FOR USE IN GENOA
12-007. Germany, 3rd quarter 19th century, with three stamps on the top: a castle, a large capital G (made in Nuremberg for use in Genoa), and a large 1. Made of darkened brass, 2 9/16" diameter x 3 1/1" to the top of the handle - the house with three rings of decorative stamps, the lid with three arms, and the handle with two squirrels holding a nut between them. The set is complete with 8 unstamped cup weights nested in the house - total weight 855 grams. This fine nested cup-weight set is very good overall condition.
