S14-002. English, 1st quarter 20th century, signed on the face "Short & Mason Ltd, London." Made of solid brass, 2 3/4" diameter x 7/8" thick, with a beveled glass face and a circumferential ring which rotates the interior altitude scale, marked 0 to 10,000 feet. This fine pocket barometer is in very good working condition, but has not been calibrated. The original 3 1/4" diameter x 1 3/8" thick leather covered wood case is worn, but is still completely serviceable.
