LARGE POST MORTEM INSTRUMENT SET by E. JCR.'S
15-004. French, late 4th quarter 19th century, stamped on many pieces "E. JCR.'S." Red felt lined mahogany case, 17 1/8" x 8" x 3 1/4", with a removable tray fitted for instruments. The set contains over 30 major pieces, including: saws, hammer, chisels, scoops, hooks, shears, scalpels, knives, etc. This large post mortem set is complete and all instruments are in very good overall condition, with many appearing unused. The case exterior is in good overall condition, with minor damage to one corner; the case interior is in very good overall condition. Altogether, an outstanding large late 19th century post mortem instrument set.
