15-007. English, late 4th quarter 18th century, unsigned. The 2 3/8" X 2 1/16" X 1/2" green mottled rayskin case contains a universal ivory handle and 7 matching bright steel scalers, files and picks. The case also also has good hinges and a secure push-button clasp, along with its original red felt liner for the instruments in the bottom and covering for the original mirror in the top. The instruments, mirror, and case are all in uncommonly fine overall condition.
