15-009. French, 1st quarter 20th century, printed on the lid "Ventouses 'POMPA,' Bte S.G.D.G." and instructions for use inside the lid. The original 10 1/8" x 8" x 3" soft cardboard box contains all 8 molded cupping glasses with valves on top, together with the original 9" long x 1" diameter hand pump. The cupping glasses and hand pump are all in mint unused condition; the cardboard box is shelf worn, but is still fully intact and usable.
The instructions for use read: "MODE D'EMPLOI DES VENTOUSE 'POMPA' - Humecter legerement le clapet de la ventouse afin d'obtenir un fermeture parfaite. Poser la ventouse a l'endroit desire, ajuster la pompe sur celle-ci, puis aspirer en pompant doucement. Pour retirer la ventouse 'POMPA' il suffit de soule-ver le clapet avec l'ongle."
