CASED SET OF CUPPING INSTRUMENTS WITH VALVED GLASSES
15-036. Probably French, mid 19th century, unsigned. The 9 3/8" x 7 3/8" x 2 7/8" plush lined polished mahogany case contains 8 individual pieces: 12-bladed round brass scarificator, 6" long lacquered brass pump which slips directly onto the brass fittings atop the bleeding cups, 4 - 2 1/8" diameter x 2 1/2" tall glass bleeding cups, 5" x 1" x 1" brass alcohol lamp, and a small stoppered glass bottle (not original) - missing a small octagonal brass scarificator. The apparatus are all in very good overall condition, as is the original mahogany case.
