16-012. English, dated 1905/6, with title pages printed "THE EDINBURGH STEREOSCOPIC ATLAS OF ANATOMY, edited by DAVID WATERSTON, LONDON, THE CAXTON PUBLISHING COMPANY." Each of the 5 volumes contains approximately 50 - 9" x 7 1/8" cards (250 cards total), with a black & white stereo photograph pasted on the bottom and descriptive text above. The volumes are labeled: 1) Thorax, Thorax-Lungs, Thorax-Heart and Pericadium, Thorax-Mediastina, Central Nervous System; 2) Abdominal Wall, Inguinal Region, Abdonimal Cavity, Viscera, Abdominal Aorta, Pelvis, Bladder; 3) Abdomen and Pelvis, Lower Limb; 4) Perineum, Pelvis, Lumbar Region, Thorax-Back, Upper Limb; and 5) Brain, Head and Neck, Cranio-Cerebral Topography. This very early 5 volume set of THE EDINBURGH STEREOSCOPIC ATLAS OF ANATOMY is complete in its original (worn) boxes and all of the cards are in very good overall condition .
