19-016. French, early 2nd quarter 20th century, unsigned. Made of chrome plated brass and standing 26 3/4" tall overall, mounted on top of the 15 5/8" x 10 7/8" x 4 1/2" fitted wood case. The balance outfit is complete with 2-piece balance beam support column, balance beam & pointer, balance pan &100 gm weight, grain cup, glass volumetric cylinder & wood tamper, all in the fitted drawer. It is in very good overall condition, with minor flaking of the chrome plating, particularly on the steel balance beam.
