19-661. American, mid 20th century, labeled "Made by Precision Scientific Co." This unusual apparatus consists of a 3 1/2" diameter dish mounted on a heavy phenolic base with a crank handle that bounces the dish on the phenolic base. This apparatus came out of a mining company's assay office laboratory and we were told that it was used for soil testing. This interesting apparatus is in very good overall condition.
