We have just started a new blog for me to report on current events in the antique scientific instrument market place, including upcoming important sales, completed auction results and exceptional instruments & collections for sale or sold, along with some of my observations, opinions, and predictions on the antique scientific instrument collecting world. I would like to invite and encourage active participation in this blog, particularly by emailing me news items of interest to sectors of the community. Help me make my blog successful, but don't worry The Forum will continue to be supported as it has proved to be a useful venue for a wide range of users. We will be providing banner links to the blog from The Forum and The Gemmary home page later this week. My first blog posting is about Christie's organizational changes announced in May relating to the future of their auctions of antique scientific instruments - I think all collectors will find it certainly worth reading.
