I have a very antique type of compass, solid brass, somewhat tarnished, abt 3 1/4 inch diameter. Says Thos. J. Evans, ESQ. LONDON I don't see any other dates or info that tells any more of a story on it. There is a ring that hold a glass mirror with a slit in it, under the glass it has a 7, that is all I have seen. It came from SF is all that I know, dad got it abt 1940's. Can't find much about it, can it be worth anything? Been sitting in drawers for years doing nothing.
